I use 100% pre-washed Cotton & back in Terry Cloth so they are extra absorbent. Also being a mom of 5 I know I went through a lot of facecloths after each meal, you can use this bib as a cloth as well to save on laundry.
Measurements: Very Top to Bottom 10 inches (25cm) From bottom of Neck opening to Bottom of Bib 5 inches (12.5cm) Width of bib 8 inches (20cm). This is the perfect measurement to catch the food or drool from teething to keep shirt clean, but also short enough to crawl around while wearing and not trip over the front of the bib.
I use a large piece of velcro to close the bib around the neck.
Please note that the terry cloth backing may be a different color than shown but will coordinate with the fabric on front. Also the pattern layout will vary as bibs were cut out.
