Description
This was a Bday gift made from most of her baseball jerseys. Mom wanted all the jersey’s bordered and then the center piece was custom made. This ended up being an Xl King quilt.
I no longer will make this size, it is very difficult to get in my machine and hold up at the same time because of the weight. I also do not recommend the bordering on each square. Clothing does not lay flat, its made to curve. Quilts are made to lay to flat. So using curved stretch to try to make flat is pretty impossible, It ends up puckering and pulling no matter how many pins are used. Adding a bunch of little strips just ads to the puckering. The overall look is great, but the detail is not up to my normal standard.
